Accepted to Weiss Tech House

We were notified today that the Innovation Fund Committee has accepted ChronoWake to the Weiss Tech House Innovation Fund. This allows our venture to take advantage of the services offered to teams admitted to this organization, including free access to laboratory space for prototyping, legal services for intellectual property protection, and more. Additionally, we are provided a $1,000 grant to help fund the development of our physical product.

ChronoWake is proud to join the ranks of several prominent, successful Innovation Fund projects. We would like to thank the Innovation Fund Committee and the Weiss Tech House for providing this great opportunity to advance our venture!

Engineering Entrepreneurship II Class Project

Ryan Goldstein, President/CEO, pitched the business concept for ChronoWake to the Engineering Entrepreneurship II class. Of the 30 ventures pitched, the class collectively selected ChronoWake as one of the six to pursue and develop, culminating in a comprehensive business plan. In April 2009, the plan will be presented to a distinguished panel of recognized entrepreneurs, investors, and advisors from the high-tech industry. This blue-ribbon panel will likely include angel investors, venture capitol partners, successful high-tech entrepreneurs, business incubator representatives, early-stage business consultants, accounting firm managers, intellectual property attorneys, corporate venture fund executives, and corporate innovation managers.

Nanoscale Wireless Technology

At ChronoWake, we strive to remain on the cutting-edge. We openly embrace technological advances that improve product quality and efficiency, minimize power consumption, reduce impact on the environment, or otherwise enhance our company and society. Nanotechnology promises many improvements over existing technology. Ryan Goldstein, President/CEO, wrote a detailed overview of the current state of nanotechnology in the wireless realm. As it becomes economically feasible, we plan to implement such technology into our products.
